I always have a very pleasant time whenever I visit Powell family dentistry they take very good care of me and they're really caring and compassionate towards your feelings and they're always asking you if you're okay. And I'm helping to work with them in the future I'm right now working to get my partials done and I'm hoping to work on getting some Caps or veneers put on my four front teeth at the top and I'm working on helping to get some financial assistance with that and they're very sweet people especially the office manager I don't know her name but I know she knows who I'm talking about she's the sweetest person ever and the dentist I saw yesterday at my visit I never sent him before but he spoke with me he tried to let me know about how to get the Gap out between my teeth what I would have to go through.
I had my first visit at Powell Family Dentistry today and I love it there. It did take a while to get an appointment tho. But I love it there and I feel very comfortable there. I had to take my youngest daughter with me and they were so nice to her. We feel like family there. 100% recommend them.
Some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in a medical environment. They were thorough and explained if I had any questions. They are helping me with my financial problems so I can still get proper oral care. You can tell they truly care about me.
Appointment was at 1:30 was taken back very fast! Office staff are warm and inviting. Dentist explained everything to me after treating my child. My child has severe anxiety with out me near her with dentist visits I was Leary taking my children here since I couldn’t be back there. However my daughter came back as happy as can be. And not stressed out! Very pleased. Only down fall I can say is her next appointment is 6 months out for treatment but that because of high demand.
If I could give them a zero I would. Don’t bother making an appointment and waiting 6 months for that appointment, they’ll just text you and cancel within a week of the appointment with no solution. I’ve had them cancel my son’s appointment as well because THEY scheduled it right after Christmas and then they don’t give you a another appointment. I’ve also had them try and cancel my other son’s appointment because they said I didn’t confirm when texted, but I did and even sent screen shots. This place is a joke, they don’t have the staff to keep up with the patients but they keep taking new patients anyways and then giving them the runaround. I waited 6 months for an appointment that they canceled on me because they said they lost a dentist and gave me zero solution, just canceled and said sorry. Don’t waste your time here!!
Worst dentist experience ever. When you call it tells you to go online. When you go online it tells you to call. You can never get in touch with them unless you go down there. I had a filing scheduled that I desperately needed but the dentist called out sick. I was rescheduled a month out. Next time I went in I was told my appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm by text (even though I confirmed by email). I was then told I would be rescheduled 6 months out. They don't care about you here. They are way too busy and highly disorganized. No confidence in their odd dental staff either.
I had an appointment with Powell Family Dentistry today, and I give them 5 stars! They were very friendly, clean, informative and quick to get me seen. They addressed my issues and concerns regarding my teeth and they set into motion a plan of care! I have another appointment next week to fix some of the issues I have. Great bed side manners, and was really easy on me as I'm so frightened of dental work, I have only good things to say about each person I interacted with and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dental work! ♡♡
Dr McCormick is an amazing dentist! He is caring and makes sure you don't feel any pain. All the Dr's and women who work in the back are amazing! It is a shame that the office manager, Carrie Sather, is ruining this office. She can't make an appointment on the day she tells you she made it for, she has it where there are no phones in the office so you cannot call them. If you leave a voicemail, it's never answered. You are supposed to text and that goes unanswered for days or even a whole week. She is not good at her job and needs to go. The Dr's and Hygienists are the stars, along with the lady who checks you in. Carrie is rude, and doesn't act like the patients matter. She is doing this office a true disservice. If she wasn't here, this office would be top notch.
